EMDR Therapy

Life can be challenging, and sometimes we face experiences that leave a lasting impact on our well-being. At Legacy Wellness Services, we understand the importance of finding effective and transformative solutions for your mental health. Our dedicated team specializes in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, a proven method for addressing and overcoming the effects of trauma and distressing life experiences.

Why EMDR Therapy?

EMDR therapy is a powerful and evidence-based approach that helps individuals process and heal from traumatic events, anxiety, and other emotional challenges. Developed to target and reprocess memories that may contribute to emotional distress, EMDR facilitates the brain's natural healing abilities, allowing you to move towards a more adaptive and positive state of mind.

HOW IT WORKS

  1. You schedule a 15-minute consultation to see if we are a good fit. This is your time to ask us any questions about diagnoses, who we work with, our values, what you can expect. You can also briefly share why you are seeking services. You get decide if you want to move forward or not.

  2. If we both decide to work together, we will schedule an intake assessment so that your provider can get a thorough understanding of how to assist you in your healing journey.

  3. Your provider will work with you to create treatment goals catered to you. We can set goals to work on stopping the cycles of depression, helplessness, anxiety, and fear from running your life. As well as setting boundaries, building self esteem, and how to make friends and build your support system.

  4. You can have a standing appointment (appointments on the same day and time weekly) or you can schedule an appointment in your client when you are available.

We look forward to working with you!
